Issues from the Annual Meeting

I. Waste Removal

Reduce the number of garbage trucks on our streets.  We have a special rate of $57 for 3 months  with Washington Disposal for Monday pick up, which includes recycling and lawn waste.  Call (248) 391-3244 and mention Hi Hill Village.

II. Neighborliness

A.  Dog Waste:  Please pick up after your animal during your walks.

B. Traffic:  You can make your sub safer by adhering to the 25 MPH speed limit on all sub streets and by stopping fully at all stop signs.

III.  Maintenance Fee:

A.  104 of 168 homes have paid the mandatory $25 fee.  Please remember to mail your payment today!  Make your check payable to Hi Hill Village and send it to Treasurer Kevin Harris at 3773 Hi Villa Drive, Lake Orion, MI 48360.

B.  Liens will be placed on homes with unpaid fees from 2007 backward.

C.  Please direct your questions regarding finances to the Treasurer.

IV.  Help Wanted!

The Board needs residents to get involved!  Please volunteer to help with the Halloween Party or Holiday Lighting Contest.  Contact the Events Coordinator Kris Mooney!

V.  Board Members

Marie Monaco (Pres.)                               Don Ritenburgh (VP.)

Kevin Harris (T.)                                        Kris Mooney (Events)

Melissa Archer (S.)

Next Board Meeting:  Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 7pm.  All residents are welcome to voice concerns at the beginning.  Please contact the secretary to confirm date, time and place of the board meeting prior to coming.

Safety Issues

Break-ins and vandalism continued to plaque Hi Hill Village this past spring.  Report all crime to the Oakland County Sheriff.

Non emergencies:  (248) 858 – 4950

Many neighbors are interested in a Neighborhood Watch Program.  VP Don Ritenburgh is looking into this.

TIP:

If you leave your car in the driveway overnight, make sure to lock the doors.  Remove targeted items such as I Pods or Laptops.
