Lure Coursing

Through the years we have enjoyed taking our ridgebacks lure coursing.  They really seem to enjoy the chase and destroying the bag at the end of the run.  In 2009 we are running Tabu and Chura.  Reign Beau is tired of being the baby who is not old enough to do the fun things in life.

Tabu really took to the field this year.  She earned her Field Championship on December 28, 2008 -- it was her 3rd weekend running.  She is just beautiful when she runs.  We always feel honored to watch her.

Honestly, Chura was our biggest surprise.  We tried to get her Junior Courser title when she turned 1 year old.  The lure broke right at the food tent.  After that, when she got to that point, instead of following the lure she would head into the food tent!  What a goof!  We finally tried her again in November 2008 and she showed passion for the sport.  She is half way to her field championship in only 1 weekend!
