White Bunny

A small white bunny lived near the edge of Jacob’s property line. It had the brightest pink eyes –they weren’t actually pink- his girlfriend would always remark. She constantly came over just to hang out near the rabbit hole. Today they sit there, on a small picnic blanket and just chat away, as the fluffy white bunny hops around them, nibbling on the green grass.

“So Brenda tells me that Jessica completely dissed Rebecca because of Josh…” Jacob was nodding and staring attentively at his girlfriend Monica, but the bunny’s rhythmic hopping drew his eyes away. He began to look beyond Monica’s rapidly moving mouth, and his eyes began to follow the hop…and…hop …and…hop, of that bunny. “…Rebecca is so totally pissed at Brenda and josh acts like he did nothing, HEY are you listening?!”

“oh…” the bunny sat near some overgrown grass and nibbled at its curving blades “…not really.”

Monica began shaking her head.

“it’s not my fault its that bunny’s.” He pointed toward the bunny “just look at him, his such a trip.”

Monica pushed Jacob, back hard. He fell onto the moist grass, and Monica quickly jumped on top of him. “It’s not cool to not listen to me when I talk.”

Jacob just smiled and enjoyed feeling the weight of Monica’s body on top of him, and the sight of her lovely body.

“I need to punish you” Her hands were tugging on Jacob’s shirt, she was slowly revealing his bare body.

“now this punishment I enjoy” The bunny began tugging on Jacob’s hair as if it were grass. Both Monica and Jacob began laughing. She nudged the bunny away, and gave Jacob a playful slap. Suddenly a smile that freaked out Jacob emerged on Monica’s face. He opened his mouth in order to say something, and Monica shoved a bunch off grass into his mouth. She covered his mouth and pressed down hard.

“Eat it! Eat it!” Jacob wasn’t a weak boy but Monica wasn’t a weak woman either, and she put her entire body to work, in order to force him to swallow that lawn. After much resistance Jacob swallowed the grass. She stood up and laughed at poor Jacob, as he just shook his head.

“i can’t believe you did that”

“Next time listen when I speak” She shook her finger, and still giggled a bit as Jacob was hard at work trying to spit out that terrible taste from his mouth. A phone rang, and Monica was quick to say, “opps, that’s my father I got to be heading home now.”

She bent over and gave Jacob a kiss on the cheek and whispered into his ear “I Love You”, Jacob just nodded, as she walked away. The bunny was following her for a bit, but the fluffy white ball quickly turned right, for no apparent reason, and hoped away.

Jacob was brushing his teeth in his bathroom; little pieces of green would come out whenever he spit. He was still suffering from the shock of having Monica do this to him. Maybe it was the rage he felt. But suddenly things began to shake all around him. His reflection especially. His mirror self seemed to move even if Jacob was standing still. And the water. The water that was pouring down the faucet. It too began to shake. It was no longer falling in a straight line; rather it waved back and fourth. Jacob shook his head, to try and shake out his demons inside his head. Than he splashed some water all over his face.

He went back to his room and tried to get some sleep on his bed. His eyes were fixed on the wall. Slowly the wall began to move farther and farther away. Till in one rapid shoot it flew some 500 hundred feet. Jacob shut his eyes. When he reopened them, the wall was back to its normal position. He turned his head and decided that facing the ceiling was the best position to get some sleep. However he began to notice the little dots where the paint had apparently missed. He never had seen them before, but now he could see them clearly. They were like little sparkle. Those sparkles began to shimmer and Jacob noticed that the stars were rotating around his ceiling fan. Faster and faster they moved. So rapid it was like milk, spinning down a drain, and Jacob was being pulled into it. He spun with that milk around and around and into the center hole.

He stood up. Off his bed. Once again he shook his head, and looked to find his shoes. The carpet was wet. No, the carpet wasn’t wet. It was water. A murky brown water. The water was waving from wall to wall. Splashing about. Jacob began to walk, and could feel his feet splashing, and could see the water rippling all around him. He started to drop his feet harder into the water so that there would be a bigger splash. He felt himself, getting wet all over. The water was very sticky, and it dripped all over him. HE looked for the door and leaped toward it. The water rose from the impact of Jacob’s feet and a tidal wave went across the room, and sunk his bed. Jacob began laughing hysterically.

He was laughing so hard that he fell back against the door and bounced right off. He quickly turned, and put up his hands as if getting ready to fight the door. Instead of socking the door, Jacob extended his hand for a friendly handshake with the door. The door smiled and offered Jacob his doorknob to be shaken. Jacob firmly gripped the doorknob and shook it wildly. He gave the door a friendly sock. Jacob grew tired with all the splashing, and swirling, and shaking, and…he was leaning against the door thinking about all these things then he slowly began falling trough the door.

He tried to escape it, but he sunk into the door, it was like some gelatin. He was emerged by the liquid solid. His room was lost to him, instead he saw only the blue gelatin he was emerged in. Jacob took a deep breath, and shut his eyes. When he reopened them, he was laying on the floor. The sea floor. He was emerged in water. He blew bubble and laughed. Than started on his merry journey. The walls vibrated, and he pushed trough the water as he walked. He waved his arms, as he had learned to in swimming class, and soon found himself swimming in a most rapid pace trough, the caverns. He dodged jagged rocks, and huge stones that lay on the floor. Soon he saw a light that shined trough the water. He began to circle this single ray of water. Than with a sudden burst of energy shot out, the water and into the sky.

He flew up into the air. So very high. He continued to swim trough the sky and felt himself moving high and higher. His speed began to decrease, and he felt himself stop. He made a turn in mid air and looked down. The water was still there. Jacob had been there already so instead, he aimed toward a cloud. He swam trough the air, but the air was no longer anything like water. So he fell.

“wheeeee!!” The air rushed by him, his ears deaf to any other sound. His eyes were watering to the painful sensation of his eyes being pushed deep into his skull. Jacob was falling at a horrendous rate, and if he were in his logical state he would realize that falling lead to…

bouncing? Jacob flew back into the air. Than down again onto the cloud. He bounced once again, but went less high than before. Jacob realized what was happening, so when he hit the cloud, he jumped with the bounce of the cloud. Once again he flew high up into the sky. Than fell. He repeated this for a long time. With each bounce he went higher and higher, till he broke the atmosphere –which hurt his head for some odd reason- and could see the stars spin around him (sound familiar?)

When he fell this time he stopped himself. He began to just walk around the cloud, and looking about. Jacob let out a heavy sigh, and sat at the edge of the cloud. This wonderful New World was starting to bore him. Bore him to the point he found twiddling his thumbs much more exciting than exploring. So just sat they’re twiddling his thumbs. Till he found that his thumbs were no longer moving. His thumbs had entangled with one another. He was tugging at them but it would not break them apart. He shook his entire body, and his thumbs unlocked. Jacob began to realize that his hands were not solid, that they were much like the water, no, the gelatin he had been in. He shook his hands and saw his hands slowly move from side to side. They wove even after he stopped shaking his hands. Jacob was laughing once again. He dropped into the cloud, and smiled as his heavy eyelids, fell over his eyes.

Jacob awoke suddenly, and saw the white bunny nibbling away at his hair. Except how the bunny had actually eaten some of Jacob’s hair. Jacob was outraged, and struck the bunny with a heavy kick. The immense blow sent the bunny flying back, but he hit a cloud and stop stood up upon the sky. His eyes fixed at Jacob, and he shook his head at him.

“what do you want me to kick ya again?” Jacob ran toward the bunny, ran on top of air. He ran with such ease that the universe seemed to be nothing but streaks. When he stopped, in front of the bunny his foot was back ready to hit that little puff hard. He couldn’t do that though. Somehow, in his journey from his cloud, the bunny had grown 8 feet tall. Jacob shook his head, but the bunny still stood there.

The bunny gave Jacob a little smile and than with his paw, gave Jacob a little ‘tisk, tisk’ The bunny drew his giant foot back, and gave Jacob a most painful kick.

Like a rocket from hell, Jacob flew trough the air and out of this world.

A phone rang. Jacob was still sleeping, and just threw his hand onto his desk and searched for his phone.

“hello? hello?” No response. Jacob knew he wasn’t going to be able to fall asleep again, so instead he went into the kitchen to get himself a drink of water. The faucet poured his water as he just yawned. Than he began to think. Looking into that water, he began to remember…no, it was just a dream. He took the glass back with him to his room.
