This is the arch that our class left to the school. It was first installed at the old football field (Harmony Field). Then it was moved to the new football field (Mosley Field) when the stadium was built at the new high school. It is located behind the new high school.

The Arch at the Stuttgart High School football field was damaged during the
construction of the new ticket windows. The class of 1963 donated this Arch
to the school upon graduation. It was erected at Harmon Field in 1964 and
then moved to the new football field where it stood until it was damaged in
an attempt to move it.
When this came to the attention of Rudy Smith, a member of the 1963 graduating
class, he decided to see if it could be fixed. Ron Stewart, also a 1963 graduate,
determined that the Arch could be rebuilt.
The Arch was rebuilt and painted. With pride on August 17, 2002 the Arch was
again placed at the Stuttgart High School Football field. Thanks go to Bob
Koch, Dr. Jerry Sparrow, Ray Vester, Rudy Smith, Ron Stewart, Richard Roth,
(all 1963 graduates) Ronnie Helms, Donald Stephens, Charles Vester, and Rickey
White for their help in erecting the Arch.
