Jerry Wayne Alexander Jerry Wayne Alexander, 19, died at 10:12 pm Tuesday, Dec.2, 1964, in a Little Rock hospital after a brief illness. The son of Mr & Mrs Earl Alexander, he was born Oct.8, 1945 at El Dorado. He moved with his family to Stuttgart in Dec.1958 from McGehee, Ark. He was valedictorian of Stuttgart High School, Class of 1963, was editor of SHS Annual and president of the National Honor Society. At the time of his death, he was a sophomore at the Univerisity of Arkansas, where he was Vice President of Sophomore Counselors and a member of Alpha Koppa Lambda fraternaty. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Fayetteville. Survivors other than his parents are a brother David and a sister Norma of the home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 pm Thursday in the First Baptist Church Stuttgart by Rev. Cline D. Ellis and Rev. D. B. Bledsoe. Burial will be in Lone Tree Cemetery by Turpin Funeral Home.
