Don joined the U.S. Army on June, 06, 1967 and was sent to Vietnam. He was KIA on November, 28, 1967. He died at Quang Nam as the result of Multiple fragmentation from hostile forces. His body was recovered and returned to Stuttgart for burial. Don's name is on the Vietnam War Memorial on Panel, 30E, Line 101.
