Business meeting:

Jared Kronenberg, CC, CL, President, Presiding Officer

The position for Club Secretary is open as the person who filled that role had to resign due to other commitments.  The club will have elections to fill the position at the next (June 5) meeting.

Incoming President Mike Meynadasy, CTM, CL, will be contacting the current Executive Committee to have a "pass along" meeting with the incoming Executive Committee for a smooth transition between Toastmaster years

The next meeting, June 5 (next week), is our 10 year anniversary celebration.  The meeting will be extended until 2 pm, so please make plans to stay.

Rosalind Walker, Sergeant-at-Arms--Please respond to her personally or via the website in the email she sent as to what you will bring for food to the Anniversary Event. We have a lot of sweets, so if can commit to something savory, that would be great!

With this speech, Bill has completed the requirements for his Advanced Communicator Silver.  It has also allowed the club to earn its ninth Distinguished Club point, so it is once again A President's Distinguished Club.  Way to go, Bill!

Jared Kronenberg announced that during the meeting, Scott Ellsworth sent an email announcing the birth of Elrose Ellsworth at 8:50 am today.  Everyone's doing fine, and feel free to stop by & visit them at Highland Hospital. 

The next meeting was announced to be on Thursday, June 5 (next week), 2008, our club 10-year Anniversary.
