Meeting Minutes February 21, 2008

Theme--“Kiss and Make-up”

Dues are due.  Please make out your checks to Rochester High Noon for $33.  The dues will cover the period of April through September.  Juls will be sending out invoices soon, but feel free to send your dues payment to her ahead of time.

The Area Contest was announced by Jared Kronenberg, CC, Area Governor, to be on Saturday, March 15th, at the Holiday Inn Airport (same place as last Spring's contest).  It will be a breakfast meeting starting at 9 am and will cost $9 (thanks to some extra $$ left over from the last contest).  Please sign up for roles in the contest with Jared, and please attend the contest to cheer on the club winners (Scott Ellsworth in the International and Gordon Penniston in the Evaluation).

New Member Induction—Susan Cergol was inducted into the club by Gordon Penniston, DTM, IPDG. Mike Meynadasy, CTM, CL, was announced to be her mentor.  Welcome to the club, Susan!

Guests were asked for their comments; Tom enjoyed the competition between Leanne and John.  Anne said she has submitted her application and check to be a member of RHN.  Micah gave his comments throughout the meeting

Closing RemarksCindy Craner (Cindy announced how she was hesitant to volunteer to be Chief Evaluator, but when asked at the meeting, she did the job and learned a lot; she encouraged everyone to step up for new challenges)
