Business meeting:
Jared Kronenberg, President—Jared announced that we have four (4) people signed up to help out at the Area 16 Fall Contest (the morning of Saturday, 10/13, at the Country Club of Rochester). We'd love to see more people there from RHN to cheer on our contestants and to help out (see below)
Gordon Penniston, Secretary—announced that a quorum was present
Club Business—
1. It was moved by Gordon Penniston (2nd Mike Meynadasy) that because we have a 5th Thursday in the month of November (11/29), we should have a 3rd RHN meeting for the month consisting of speeches and evaluations (no table topics). The discussion that followed included that this is a week after Thanksgiving. The motion passed 14-1
2. It was moved by Mike Meynadasy (2nd Karen Goodman) that the club cover the cost to Kris Stevens for the cost of one Red Wings Ticket (for $8.50) that she paid for out of pocket when one person did not show up to pay for it at the event in August. Discussion included that this was a valid cost because we needed the 20 tickets in order to have our name on the scoreboard, so it was good PR. The motion passed unanimously
The next meeting was announced for Thursday, October 18, 2007, High Noon
Meeting Adjourned at 1:03, by Club President Jared Kronenberg, Presiding Officer
Recorded and submitted by Gordon Penniston, DTM, Club Secretary
