08717
08717 was based at Inverness until the late 1980s, until it was converted to 09202. It is now based at Thornaby.
08754
Since hired to Freightliner, and now operting at Garston car terminal, this was based at Inverness until the arrival of 08308 and 08788. After leaving Inverness, it became the first shunter to carry Freightliner livery. It was the TMD shunter.
08762
Now residing at Dagenham Dock, 08762 was the former Inverness CarMD shunter, and the workhorse of the town, often putting in many more appearances than 08754. More photos to follow.

Above: 08717 is seen in platform 3 performing shunting duties on 8th February 1992.  In the background is 47630 with the 14:45 Inverness-Pitlochry.  For clues to as to why this train is running as so; look at the ground, think what has just happened to the Highland Main Line (Aug 2002) and think as to what happened the day before a few hundred yards outside the station.  Photo by Mike Cooper.
