The Burghead Branch
A short branchline to the Moray Coastshire town at Alves, a village located between Forres and Elgin.  Rarely photographed and often forgotten, Highland Rail were sent a few photographs to highlight some of the traffic the line has seen.  The branch can now be regarded as Mothballed and has seen no traffic in recent years.  Photographs are by Mike Cooper and from the late Norman Smart.
