| We approach them and begin to ask for details. They are convinced that we are in fact in the right cemetery. At that moment, Jenny finds some new information. She finds the name of the other Cemetery. It is St. Johns Cemetery. After much thought, we decided to leave and go to St. Johns. Tonight, Jenny being the internet queen, she is map questing us some directions. The time now is about 10:00pm. We leave Reynolds Cemetery in our search for St. Johns. We drive up the street about a quarter of a mile and turn around. While passing again by Reynolds Cemetery, we notice that we have left just in time. The police have arrived and are making people leave. Whew! Just by a hair, we miss them! Jenny then realizes that she is unable to find the address for St. Johns Cemetery so we decided to go to the Mobile gas station on the corner of Reynolds Rd. and M-60. We go inside and ask for directions. The people inside the station were more than willing to help us out. We talk to the attendant, Robert, who tells us where we need to go. (This is kind of funny! As we were leaving the gas station, the attendant told us to watch for deer. Afterwards he stated that maybe he shouldn't have said that, the last time he did the people hit a deer right up the Rd. So we leave the gas station and about 5 seconds down the Rd. there is a deer standing in the middle or the Street. I thought it was funny.) Again, we are off. We are on a mission. We will find this place once and for all. We follow the directions that were given to us, and to our disappointment, we did find a Cemetery, but it was not the one we were looking for. Again, we were in the wrong place. The time now is about 10:30pm. Feeling frustrated and unfamiliar with the area, we return to the Mobile gas station. Robert, the attendant, tells us his wife, Michelle is very interested in this sort of thing and if we would like him to he could give her a call to see what she knows about the "haunting". Of course, we agree. After talking to Michelle on the phone, we determine that we NEED to be at the cemetery on Reynolds Rd. We were in the right place all along. She states that the grave of Jacob Crouch has an unmarked stone. Again, we return to the Cemetery. We arrive at about 11:00pm and there are more people there. We stop the car and begin to talk to them. The first person we meet is a fun 16 year old, Brett Leach, from Jackson Michigan. He is having fun with the night and decided to wear a ghostly mask. |
