HIGHLANDER: City of Immortals III
Skill Levels
The following is to explain to you what kind skill you get from each level you achieve at a said skill.
LEVEL 1
Being a level 1 at a said skill would state that you have general knowledge of the skill. You have a beginner's competancy. For example if it were a sport such as baseball, you would have knowledge of the rules of the game and how to play it. There is very little actual study involved in first level. More often than not level 1 is achieved by a little bit of experience and basic instruction from another practitioner.
LEVEL 2
Level 2 can be achieved with a bit of experience and study. At level 2 you will know the skill a noticeable amount more than a level 1. You will know some basic facts and knowledge about the skill and have at least a basic amount of experience with it.
LEVEL 3
Level 3 will signify that the character is above average at the skill. It will show that not only do they have a fair amount of knowledge of the skill, but a fair amount of experience as well. At level 3, the character will likely have spent several years practicing the skill on a half normal basis.
LEVEL 4
A level 4 character is just shy of master. They have a wide range of knowledge and experience with the skill. Several years of practice and studying the skill will be necessary to achieve this. A level 4 character will be able to easily impress an ignorant person or even a low level person with their skill and knowledge.
For Example: A level 4 baseball player could easily play Triple A baseball. He's just shy of being able to be a major leaguer but good enough to be consider a professional. A level 4 might also be an extremely low level major leaguer at a push but would likely be a back-up or bench player.
MASTER
Masters are typically the top of their line. Masters are rare, though they can be found if looked for hard enough. They typically know almost everything there is to know about a certain skill. They have spent much time studying, practicing and mastering a skill. They are now capable to skillfully teach a student in their skill.
For Example: A master baseball player could play in the major leagues and maybe even make the All-Star team or better. A master at gymnastics could make an olympic team.
