HIGHLANDER: City of Immortals III
Sample Post
I'm going to show you an example of what I expect out of posts. Keep in mind this is just an example, this doesn't mean you have to type JUST like this, but the basic outline of the post I would like you to keep (Such as writing your itinerary for the week as well as goals).

Keep in mind this is a post from the last game so some things may be different. If you are a master or a wizard at a skill or art, it is VERY important that you train your skill/art almost every single day, if not every day.
Here is the example post:
WEEKLY GOALS: To get a place to live, to get a job that pays at least $10 an hour, to get settled in the new city. Maybe get a girlfriend.
MONDAY: On Monday, I plan on going around and looking for a place to stay first off. I�m going to go to the Meadowdale apartments and try to get an apartment there. If they reject me, I will go to the Watershed apartments and apply there. When I get approved for a place, I will put a down payment on it so I can start living there that day. I�m going to hit Food Lion and get some groceries to eat. I�m going to do a lot of working out. Weapons and physically.
TUESDAY: I�m going to go to go apply for a position at the Art Museum. I have worked with artifacts back a few years ago and also majored in art at Virginia Commonwealth University so I have some background. I am going to accept the job if they pay me $40,000 a year. Tuesday I think I�m going to go eat at Burger King for dinner. Same exercise as the previous night.
WEDNESDAY: If I get the job, I might start today or whenever they plan on starting me. If I have free time I will maybe hit an afternoon movie at Carmike Cinemas. I�m also going to do a lot of exercising today so I might hit the gym if I get a chance before it closes. If not, I plan on working out at home. I plan to work on my physical body as well as my weapons technique. I�m going to probably order a pizza tonight. Also if I have an official address, I realize that I come from out of state (or possibly out of the country) and I�m going to update my citizenship and get an updated license. Also, since it says I�m 33 years old and in fact I�m only physically 22, I�m going to scuff up my license a bit and make it appear that I was born 10 years later. If she catches me on it, I�m going to play it off like I was not paying attention or something.
THURSDAY: I�m going to work if I�m scheduled. Otherwise I�m going to take it easy tonight. I�m going to work around the house and straighten the place up. I�m going to eat at home tonight. Same exercise as the previous evening.
FRIDAY: Work if I�m scheduled. Also I will probably go pick up some nice clothes at the mall at such and such a store. Around 7 PM I�m going to cook some nice food and then I�m going to go out to the Edge Night Club and go dancing and see if I can find a girlfriend. I�m looking for a really energetic girl, I prefer blondes but I�m willing to settle with a brunette if I can�t find one exactly to my liking. I want one that is shorter than me and one who does not smoke. One who likes to have fun. If I find a cool girl, I will invite her over (if things are going well) and see what happens. I�m not willing to have sex with her if she tries it. ***Just to let you know, in a case like this before you have to worry too much about the future plans with this boyfriend/girlfriend, I will let you know how successful you were and you can change your plans accordingly. These types of situations will typically be in your �situation to respond to� which will also appear in each post.*** I�m going to exercise again tonight.
SATURDAY: I�m going to go to work again. I read in the Tulumbar Newspaper that a man was found be-headed at Winn-Dixie last week, I�m going to investigate that. I�m going to go Winn-Dixie and see what I can dig up. If I find any evidence of who it might be or if my character gets any hunches of who it could be, I�m going to consider following it. I�m going to call my buddy Ricky (who is on my web page under �Friends�) and try to arrange plans with him on Sunday. I�m going to exercise again tonight.
SUNDAY: I�m going to go to Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in the morning. I�m going to meet my buddy Ricky for lunch. I�m going to be an arse and make him pay for lunch and not even offer to pay the tip because I�m going to be cheap until I get my job. I�m going to exercise again tonight. I am also going to go by Blockbuster and pick up a movie.
That�s basically what your post is going to need to look like more or less. That is again just an example, you don�t have to put those same things in there. You put what you want in there but that is the basic format I�d like to see it in. Let me know of your intentions throughout the week. It can be a little or shorter or it can be a lot longer. Keep in mind that the more detail you give me the less I assume. This post above is an example of something you might post in the first week. Here is an example of what might come as a result of it.
POST- October 7-13
MONDAY- John the Immortal woke up in his Honda Civic around 9 AM Monday morning to the sun shining in his face. He got up and knew he needed a place to stay because of last night�s uncomfortable encounter. He drives his riced up car over to the Meadowdale apartments. At first he was given a dirty look because he is wearing dirty clothes and looks like he is full of trouble. However after placing $1200 on the table and paying for the first two months of living, Gerald the clerk gave you a place to stay. John went to Food Lion and got $100 worth of groceries. He has enough to last him a week. John worked out today and feels good. He is happy because he was successful in finding a place to live.
TUESDAY- Tuesday morning John got up from his new apartment which contained no bed. However, it was still better than sleeping in the car. He is comfortable for the time being. John went to the Art Museum to apply for a job. The moment he walked in John felt the presence of another immortal! He looked left and he looked right! Finally a man walks out standing about 6 foot 3 inches tall. He weighs approximately 210 pounds. He looks physically about 32 years old and looks muscular. He is wearing a black suit with a white undershirt and a red tie. He looks at you with a slightly suspicious look. He does not crack a smile at all but does not take his eye of off you for a second. The room is very large and there are paintings all over the room. There are no other people in the room except you and him. To your knowledge, there is nowhere within at least a room or two.
****This is where I will make a break in the story and email both immortals letting them know what is going on. Basically you will need to send me an email letting me know what you wish to do.****
You might say �I want to go up and talk to him. I�m going to walk to him with my hand up and with a smile on my face to let him know I do not mean or wish to do battle. I will tell him I come in peace and I would like to apply for a job.�
You might say �I am going to immediately pull out my katana and attempt to cut his head off right there in the center of the art museum. No matter how much he resists, I�m going to attack until either (A) I have his head or (B) someone breaks it up.�
You might say �I�m going to go up to the man and talk to him. If he is interested in doing combat another time and place, I will try to arrange a place with him to meet. I will suggest Wednesday night at the Abandoned Train station. 2 AM.�
You could say a number of things, but somehow you need to let me know exactly how you want to respond to the particular situation. Most specifically if you want to fight the immortal or not. And if you do or don�t, how you handle the situation. In a situation like this, you are going to need to reply to me as speedy as possible so game play can continue for both characters.
At the start of the game, that is typically how posts will start off. If I notice them getting difficult to do (because of the quantity) I will make the posts a little less detailed but give the same information. When you run into another immortal, there will always be as much detail as I put there, in fact, I will actually probably give a bit more than I just did so both people will know the environment very well.
