.mission.
I can imagine that many people who find this site are going to think "She's crazy, this cant be done." And perhaps that is true, but if no one tries what I have set out to accomplish, then no one will never know if it could have been done. Only that it wasn't.
Years from now, we may find ourselves looking back and wondering why GLAY never came to America; Why those of us who couldn't afford to fly to Japan never got to see one of the greatest rock bands in the world. How, with their cds in our hands, and their concert dvds in our players, we could have been so close and yet so far, far away at the same time.
It's a sentiment I hope to never feel.
And if by some wild twist of fate, this project is successful, then I will have proven these people wrong. A handful of people could get GLAY in America. That all it took was the dedication of one and the help of many. Because if this is ever to succeed, highcomm needs more than anything promotion and help from those all over the web.
If you want to see GLAY, sign our petition. If you have a webpage, put up a link to us. Send GLAY an email or even a snail-mail letter telling them you want them to come to America. Tell everyone you know about highcomm, and spread the word.
I can start this, and I can keep it running, but I can't do it alone. Some things in life you have to work for. Not everything will be handed to you in red ribbons on a silver platter. Some people know this already, and others still have to learn this lesson. GLAY has dedicated more than ten years to their mission. Surely you can dedicate a few minutes to yours.
