If your puppy is diagnosed by OFA as having hip dysplasia, or diagnosed by a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO) with retinal atrophy or retinal dysplasia, we will replace it with a puppy of comparable breeding. For replacement, we require all documentation from OFA and/or CERF and a written statement from your veterinarian confirming that the dog has been spayed and neutered.
The Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) shall be the sole judge regarding hip dysplasia. The Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF) shall be the sole judge regarding eye defects.
This guarantee applies only to hereditary defects and is valid only to the original purchaser of the dog. Injury to the dog or breeding of the dog prior to clearance by both OFA and CERF shall void this guarantee.
