A pulsing beat hits the air "American Nightmare" begins to play. The arena lights begin to strobe in synchronicity to the music as the huge monitors begin flashing a skeletal demonic visage. ~Dig deep down from Planet X, yeah~ Ring Announcer: He hails from Los Angeles, California... he is... Spotlights pan through the stadium, scanning through the air. Suddenly the entrance explodes with a spike of red pyros as ominous red lettering hangs on the monitors, spelling out the word NIGHMARE. ~Call me the American nightmare~ Lewis: NIGHTMARE!!! As a shower of red pyros rains down upon the stage, Nightmare steps through the entrance. The roar of the crowd becomes deafening as they chant his name loudly in unison. ~Yeah, motherfucker~ Nightmare adjusts his gloves he scans the crowd like a general surveying his troops. A ravishingly beautiful platinum-blonde leather-clad young woman steps out through the entrance from behind Nightmare and takes her place at his right side. ~Black boots stomp and penetrate, yeah~ The two look to one another, smirk and nod. Nightmare and his wife Darqness race towards the ring as the monitors begin to play flashes of his fighting career: knocking opponent after opponent out in the boxing ring, training in his dojo and gymn, making opponents tap out in mixed martial arts competitions, highlights from his international wrestling matches, all interspersed with footage from his matches in the AJWF and HiC. ~Call me the dark intruder~ Once at ringside Nightmare springs onto the ring apron, grabs the top rope, and flips over the top. Simultaneously Darqness dives into the ring, sliding between Nightmare's legs. ~Call me the American Nightmare~ Nightmare walks to the center of the ring and pumps his fist into the air. The four corner posts erupt into an explosion of red pyros, after which the house lights cut to black. ~Yeah, motherfucker~ When the lights rise once again Darqness has assumed her place outside the ring in her husband's corner, while Nightmare is in his corner awaiting the beginning of the match. Wrestlers Finisher(s): 1) Darkness Falls (versions I and II given). 2) Dark Funeral Description of Finisher(s): 1) Nightmare will place his opponent upon the top turnbuckle, facing outwards. After slamming their head into the top of the ring post a couple times to make sure they are dizzy, Nightmare will climb onto the second turnbuckle. Nightmare will then execute an inverted brain buster DDT onto his opponent. (If his opponent should attempt to slip out of the DDT behind Nightmare, he will capture them upon his shoulder to deliver a super shoulder gut buster drop instead). 2) This is a martial arts combo attack that involves Nightmare rotating around his opponent to land in succession: hook kick to the back of his opponent's leg, roaring elbow to the small of his opponent's back, crescent kick to his opponent's opposite leg, roundhouse punch to his opponent's midsection, and finally a Thai roundhouse kick connecting with the back of the now doubled-over opponent's head on the downswing [Always results in KO if not hospitalization].
