Two wrongs don’t always make a right

What the youth should know about the Miltary

Why can we never seem to hold hands and embrace each other? Why do we fight more than we hug? Why do we lie more than we speak truthfully? Are we such cowards when it comes to love?

Marines and the military teaches people one thing in common. That you can kill people if they don't count as people.

   Not that long ago when I got a call from the marines, and when I said I decline their generous offer because I believe that killing and hurting others was wrong. Their response was "Why not, everyone thinks it is cool, when I was in the infantry I had my fun." That line was enough to convince me of the dirtiness of the marines. My response was "o, Yea it is cool." He started laughing and then said " so do you want to join?" What I said was" So how about tonight I go to your home, put your parents in a body bag, and put a post it on your fridge you were right that is cool." He hung up.

 

    But the question is why do good people kill? Because they were taught that it was okay, or cool. The problem with that is, Killing is just cruel and never cool.

             People are willing to hurt others because of fear of authority, if we have such negative influence from the military, everyone would just be full of fear.
