Two wrongs don’t always make a right

What the youth should know about the Miltary

Why can we never seem to hold hands and embrace each other? Why do we fight more than we hug? Why do we lie more than we speak truthfully? Are we such cowards when it comes to love?

             Marines don't   shoot rainbows out of their assholes and make everyone feel happy do they? No, Marines   kill people that is what they are made to do. Marines don’t   dance around like carebears, and give carebear hugs, they have a gun and   kill people. How does this profession sound in anyway righteous? It just sounds wrong and morally degrading. In addition to having to be the cause of death for others, you could die or lose a limb which would drastically change your whole life.

            Being in the Marines, is not a   game. It is not like Counter Strike where it is fun to shot down people because no one would actually die. In the Marines you don’t   get that instant revives after you die, once you are dead you are dead forever. They just pack you in a body bag and get someone else to replace you and give your parents the sad news. Adventure, is that adventure when you going to be 6 feet under? So much for experience, what experience does get risking your life for something that you don’t even care about?

             Use your mind and think for yourself do you want to dedicate you body to something that crude?
