What the youth should know about the Miltary

Why can we never seem to hold hands and embrace each other? Why do we fight more than we hug? Why do we lie more than we speak truthfully? Are we such cowards when it comes to love?

           The age of 18 and up are turning moments of a youth's life, however the decision that are made when they reach 18 depend a lot on what is happen between 15-17 years old. During that moment of a person life they have to go a lot of challenging obstacles. Especially the question of College. That is when the pressure from the military is the greatest. My site is dedicated to help give an understanding of how our country's military work from the eyes of a kid between 15-17 years old. 

             Who am I, and why do I qualify to say the things that I am saying? Well I am your average Asian American, who is going through the same things other young kids are facing. And I want them to know that the military is not what it seems.  At first I was much like anyone else, who was flipping through T.V channels and suddenly stop when the commercial with the beautiful Red, White, and Blue and the lines “The Many, The Few, The Proud” it was something to be admired.

             However things are not what they seem to be. The Marines and Military are not what it seems. Especially those who are in high school and don’t have a clue of what is going on, things could very troublesome.

             Especially if you are a person of color, or is still in high school or has a daughter or son in high school I suggest exploring this site, and the doing some research on the web about what the military really is like.
