It was a dark and Kagome could barely see in front of her. She slowly made her way out of a forest and into a flat, grassy area. The moon was almost gone, and Inuyasha's time was near. So Kagome was argueing with herself on an idea that she had had for a while. To bring him to the future on his night of vulnerability. But the first thing that was on her mind was finding Inuyasha. To help her with that she brought Shippo. "There he is!" Shippo said, pointing to a shadowy figure, stalking behind a group of rocks. She ran to catch up with him before he got away. "Inuyasha please wait...Please..." She shouted as ters formed in her eyes. He turn around, feeling guilty again. "Kagome, don't cry." He said in that soft voice he usually uses when she cries. "Don't cry? Inuyasha, will you ever learn tact?" Kagome shouted. "You were the one asking those questions!" "Hey! I just wanted to know what you meant!" "I don't know what I meant, Kagome." He dropped his voice. "Please forgive me." "Forgive...You?" Yeah, you know, forgive and forget." "Okay. I have something to ask you." "Ask away." "Well, you know next week, well that night there is a beach party and I wanted to know if you'd come. I mean, you could bring the Tetsusaiga if you wear different clothes and all." "I can bring the Tetsusaiga, if I wear different clothes?" "That's right." "And it's on my night?" "Yup, on your night." "Well..." he thought for a while. "Okay."
So one week later Kagome brought Inuyasha a pair of long jean-shorts. She couldn't decide on a shirt to bring, so she figured Inuyasha could pick. She sat by the well as he got changed. He wasn't used to shorts, so he kept staring at them. "Inuyasha, are you done yet?" Kagome yelled. "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming." He yelled back. "Its about time." "Oh be quiet." He said walking out of the woods. Kagome felt her cheeks grow red as the light from the setting sun shone on him. She couldn't help it, but her eyes kept falling apon his bare chest. she had seen his torso before, when he got into a battle. She wanted to help him, after all, he did get stabbed three times. But by the time she got to help him it was healed. "Kagome, what the hell are you looking at?" inuyasha asked cockily. "Huh? oh, um nothing. Nothing at all." She lied, taking her eyes from is muscles to his eyes. "Yeah, I'm sure. Let's go already." Inuyasha said, picking up Kagome and jumping into the well. But little did they know that they were being followed by Sango, Shippo and Miroku. |
