"SIT!" Kagome shouted.
"What the hell was that for?" Inuyasha roared
Another fight about kagome going back home. It was summer, and she thought she deseved a break. A break from the past, from the Shikon jewels, and from Miroku. Inuyasha thought otherwise. He wanted her to stay with him in the past. They had a few more jewlels left, then he could make his decision, human or demon. If he was with Kikyo he wouldn't have much say, human. But Kagome...
"I need a break, Inuyasha." Kagome yelled.
"Why do you have to go back home? Why can't you stay here with..." He trailed.
"Stay with who?" Kagome asked feverently.
"Me..." Inuyasha said, barely above a whisper. They both blushed.
"What do you mean?" She demanded.
"Why can't you stay here with us?!" Inuyasha said, a great deal louder.
"Because; because I can't. I'll be back by the end of today. I need sleep and a proper bath!" With that, Kagome jumped down the Bone Eaters Well.
He is so arrogant. Kagome thought, combing her hair. He only wants me to help him find the jewels. But sometimes, sometimes he can be sweet. He is hard to figure out. He is so, so rude and obnoxious, yet, compassionate and caring at the sametime. She walked ti her room to get changed. Still thinking about Inuyasha.
"Kagome." Her mom shouted from the bottom of the stairs." The phone's for you!"
"I got it!" She yelled, she picked up the phone.
"Hey Kagome, this is Megumi, want to go to the beach. Hojo will be there."
"Oh, sure. I'll be there in ten, got it?"
"Sure, Bye!"
"Bye." She hung up the phone. Enough thinking about Inuyasha. She told herself.
Ten minutes later her mom's car pulled up infront of Megumi's house. Her friend came running down the stairs to help her carry her bag to the van. There, her other friends, Rini and Kiana, were waiting. She walked over to them. They both had black hair and eyes, but Rini's hair was just below her shoulders, and Kiana's came to her chin. Megumi came to the side of the van, and they were ready.
They were at the beach for three hours before a freak thunderstorm hit. It was a shame, partly because kagome had had alot of fun, and the other part was because she wasn't with Inuyasha.
"Inuyasha?" Kagome called, stepping out of the well. She turned to the sound of rustling bushes. A pack of wolves, fifeteen or more, jumped out. She closed her eyes and screamed. The wolves' snarls were soon replaced by the sounds of metal clashing and whimpers. Kagome slowly opened her eyes and saw familar silver hair.
"Inuyasha!" She exclaimed. He turned. The sun makes him look sort of majestic. I did NOT just think that. Kagome thought.
He smiled at her. Without hesitation, Kagome ran to him and wrapped her arms around him. She never felt so happy to see him. Inuyasha blinked, confused about her clothes. She still had on her bikini top, but in her bag was clothes to change into.
Inuyasha sat up in a tree as Kagome got changed. if she were to scream, he'd jump down without a second thought. But it was peaceful, as the sun set behind the forest. What could go wrong? He had Kagome to himself. No Miroku, no Sango, no Shippo, nobody. Normally he would have complained that she was slowing them dowm, but having her back calmed him.
But his peaceful thoughts were shortly interupted by Kagome's ear-peircing scream. He jumped from his perch on the tree infront of Kagome.
"Kouga." Inuyasha growled
"Inuyasha." Kouga laughed. "Hand over my woman."
"She's not yours." Inuyasha said, reaching for the Tetsasaiga.
"Stop it both of you." Kagome said sternly. "Kouga jst shocked me because i was busy changing, and i didn't see him at first."
"HE SAW YOU CHANGING?!" Inuyasha roared.
"Inuyasha, don't fight." Kagome pleaded, but she was ignored. As Inuyasha charged ay Kouga, Kagome shout "I'm leaving!" And she turned, then stormed off
"Kagome!" Inuyasha shouted before chasing after her
Where the hell can she be? Inuyasha thought. Kouga is going to pay for this.He jumped from tree to tree before he found her. She was crying by a rock a few feet from Kaede's home. He jumped onto the roof and watched her, feeling guilty.
"Inuyasha..." She muttered before crying hysterically.
"Kagome," he whispered. "I'm sorry."
