History- Very little is known about dear little Botan-chan in this department... She's Koenma's head ferry-girl, and might have a crush on him; I dunno. She ferried Yusuke to the Reikai when he died. Contrary to popular belief, Botan is not alive. She is mearly a spirit who has a solid form, which is the one she uses when people can see her. She is rarely ever seen by normal people when she's flying around on her oar and wearing her pink kimono, but she was easily seen by Tarukane and the Black Black Club when they were rescuing Yukina.
