Oinkey was the last pet to die, and probably the most healthiest of the guineapigs. She ate only the freshest lettuce, softest grass, and greenest alfalfa. Her likes were running around the livingroom, bucking like a bull, and pulling individual fibers out of the carpet. Her dislikes were vacuum cleaners, squirrels (Chippy made her jealous), and being touched during sleep.
Mr. Chicken's death was never witnessed, but was assumed, because as you know, chickens are a good source of protein. Mr. Chicken enjoyed his life reeking havok in my garden, and visiting the goats. He had a general dislike for people, and felt degraded when being carried around in the hands of humans. Mr. Chicken clucks will never be forgotton. (Yes, I know all chickens are females, but Mr. Chicken was confused)
Pinkey, the gerbil was emotionally scarred at a young age when her twin sister died of illness. This trauma led Pinkey to a life of denile, and eventually insanity. The isolated environment of a habit-trail was the final experience that led Pinkey to severe Schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Pinkey's violent fights with Snowflake ended in terminal isolation.
Snowflake, AKA Snowy was a true survivor in the eyes of many recessive gened critters. She suffered eye infections, ear infections, paw rashes, and nose inflammations. To make matters worse, she was a victim of a Kleen-X box accident where her tail skin slipped off of the bone and cartilage. Due to the lack of dominate genes, her mental illness led her to raging fights with Pinkey. In the end, Snowy died, and her suffering ceased. Never again will I buy a purposly bred albino animal.
Piggy was my first guineapig, and one of the moodiest rodents I owned. She had everyone whooped, and constantly demanded food, coffee, and attention. Every evening, Piggy slept on my chest and held me hostage for hours. When her nap was over, she snapped and jumped furiously until she was placed in her cage. Piggys addiction was coffee and hot tea. This probably resulted in her early death.
