You shimmy over to the drainpipe and climb down it. It's not a long climb, because the pipe only goes down one story before sticking back into the side of the building. With no place else to go, to shimmy back off the drainpipe, onto the balcony that is convieniently right there. There's a door to the inside in front of you, or you can try your luck with the bushes below. They're still pretty far away.
