It's not precise my child to know much to please me. It's enough that you love me with devotion. Speak to me now, here simply, as you would talk with your most intimate of friends, your mother or brother.

Would you like to ask in favor of someone any wish whatsoever? Tell me their name, whether it's your parent's, your sibling's or friend's. Tell me now what you would like me to do for them today. (Pause)

Ask much from me. Do not hesitate to ask. I like generous hearts that come to forget about themselves to attend the needs of others.
Talk to me now simply of the poor that you would like to console, of the sick that you would like to see well, of the ones that are lost that you would like to see find their way. Tell me just one passionate word. Remind me that I promised to listen to every plea that comes from your heart. Is there in your heart a plea for someone you especially love? (Pause)

And for you, would you not like something special today? Make for me if you like, a list of all your necessities and come read them in my presence.

Tell me if you've felt lust, if you have been egotistical, inconsistent, negligent; and ask me to come to your side to aide you in your efforts to free yourself of those miseries. (Pause)

Do not be ashamed! In heaven there are many saints who suffered those same sins and defects but they humbly prayed and bit by bit were freed from them.

Do not hesitate to ask me for spiritual wellness, health, memory and success in your work, business or studies. All of this I can give and wish to give to you as long as it does not interfere with your sanctification. (Pause)

Just for today what do you need? If you only knew how much I desire to favor you!

Are you working on some project right now? Tell me everythng. What worries you? What are you thinking about? What do you desire? What would you like me to do for your parents, for your brothers and sisters, for your children, for your friends? What would you like to do for them? (Pause).

And for me, do you not desire my glory? Would you like to do something for others? What about something good for the one you love most or someone that has left your side? (Pause).

Tell me what calls your attention particularly today? What do you desire most reverently and by what means do you depend on to get it? (Pause).

Tell me if your undertaking goes bad and I'll tell you why it has. Don't you want to include me in your undertaking? Child of mine, I am the owner of all hearts and I take them gently to where I please, without purging on their liberty.

Are you feeling sadness? Tell me who has forsaken your love, who has unappreciated you? Come close to my heart to heal your wounds for my heart can heal all wounds.

Are you afraid of venturing out? I am here with you, take my hand. I am here at your side, I hear all and see all. Not for a moment shall I leave your side.

Do you feel there are people who once stood by your side, have abandoned you? Pray for them and I will restore their friendship if it does not stand in the way of your santification.

Do you have any happy news to share with me? Why do you not make me a part of it, like you would a good friend?

Tell me what has made your hear joyful recently. Maybe you've had a pleasant surprise; have let go of someone resentment towards some; recieved good news; have had some kindness shown towards you; have overcome some difficulty or have ceased to worry about something. (Pause).

This is all my work, I have given all these things to you. Can't you show your gratitude towards me by simply saying "THANK YOU, MY FATHER, THANK YOU!!"

Thankfulness brings with it many benefits because the one that does good unto others will also feel hapibness when he is thanked. (Pause).

And do you not have something you'd like to promise me? You already know what is in your heart. Speak to me with all sincerity: Do you have a firm commitment not to expose yourself to occasions of sin, liberate yourself of all that drives you to wrong, to not read books that exalt your imagination and lead you to sin, to not look for the company of those who would lead you to do wrong, to be friendly to those whom in the past you have looked upon with little sympathy? (Pause).

Now, my child, return to your usual chores; to your family, to your work. But do not forget these few minutes of pleasant conversation we have had today.

Keep if possible silence, modesty and charity towards your neighbour.

Come again tomorrow with your heart more open to love, and in mine, you will find more love for you along with new advise. I'll be waiting for you right here.
