DT Mood Indigo "Indigo"
1996 Grey Arabian Mare
DT Mood Indigo first came to me by way of a free lease. Abbie offered her to me on a free lease when I asked her if she had any western horses she'd be willing to sell. Since I was a new member, Abbie instead offered me a lease on her, and I readily agreed. In early January after I had been leasing Indigo for a while, Dreaming Tree Acres was selling some of their stock, and Abbie asked if I was willing to purchase Indigo. I quickly sent her a reply saying I'd be happy to have Indigo, and the mare gained a permanant place at my barn. DT Mood Indigo is trained for Western Pleasure and Trail, and competes on mainly the AHA circuit. She had a tough beginning with me, but after a while she started doing well in her classes. I believe Indigo is just a horse who takes extra time to adjust to changes. In her last show this year, the C&H Ranch Arabian Extravaganza, Indigo received two Top Tens in Open Trail and Western Pleasure, in addition to being Champion 10-13 year old mare. That exciting end to the 2006 season gave way to hopes for a good 2007 year. So far, we have not been disappointed- DT Mood Indigo was Champion 10-13 year old mare and Reserve Champion Senior Mare at her first major show, which was Scottsdale. Congratulations to Indigo, and here's to a spectacular season!
