“Soubi,” Ritsuka said sleepily, stealing a quick glance at the glowing red numbers on his alarm clock, which read nearly one o’clock. “What’re you doing here so late?”
The light haired man pushed the curtains aside, clambered through the window, and closed both behind him. He proceeded to the side of the twelve year-old’s bed, where he crouched down to be at eyelevel with the boy. “I wanted to see you,” he said, running his fingers through Ritsuka’s hair, stopping to play with the boy’s cat ear.
“I’m trying to sleep,” Ritsuka snapped. “Goodnight!” He turned onto his other side, away from Soubi, and pulled the blanket over his head.
Ritsuka felt cool air behind him just before he felt more weight settle in his bed. Arms curled around him pulling him into an awkward, backwards hug. “Goodnight, Ritsuka.”
“Stupid Soubi,” Ritsuka muttered into his pillow, too tired to argue with the man at this time of night.
“I love you, Ritsuka.”
“Nn.” Ritsuka’s eyelids began to droop. It was like bricks had been attached, and he couldn’t hold them open. As he fell asleep, Ritsuka answered. “I love you, Soubi.”
ENDless
A/N: Loveless = obsession no. 2.
I’m probably going to wait for the (translated) manga before I write more, because this was pretty bad… And the anime leaves too many questions for me to be confident enough to try to write something that would… Never mind, I’m rambling.
(As for the title, Ritsuka can decide that he loves Soubi without much thought at the end, thus “Thoughtless.” (It made sense to me…))
