Capriciousness

"It's cold..."

His breath rose in a column from his mouth whenever he spoke or breathed.

"So go inside." Zack looked at his wrist as if checking the time, but there was no watch there. "He's late..."

"H-how c-can you t-tell?"

"Dammit, just go inside already! You're gonna freeze things off!"

"I-I'm f-fine!"

The black haired Soldier shrugged. "Whatever, Spike, but if you go to take a piss later and there's nothing there..."

"I'm not leaving until he gets here!" Cloud stomped his foot on the ground like a child having a temper tantrum. "And that can't really happen!"

Zack smiled one of his trademark grins. "Oh, you should tell that to my troops from that one mission up north. I still don't know if they've managed to find a donor for Sebastian..."

Cloud froze. "W-what? That didn't... You're lying!"

"No, I'm not. Seriously, go ask him. Last I checked up on him he was at Midgar General, floor 23, room number 7."

The blond eyed the Soldier suspiciously. "And I'll really find him there?"

"I swear my last beer on it."

"I don't even like beer!"

"Good, 'cause you're not gettin' it anyway."

"But he's /not/ going to be there!"

"/What/ are you two talking about?" A tall shadow loomed over the two young men. "I could here you before I even got off the train." Cloud turned crimson.

"Hey, Seph, you're late!" Zack pointed at his wrist. "We've been freezing valuable equipment off waiting for you!"

" ...I was busy," he said simply, choosing to ignore the man's last statement.

"Ah, doesn't matter now. You're here! Let's go get ice cream!"

"I-in this weather?" Cloud questioned, shivering.

"Of course!"

End.
A/N: Capriciousness because it's random. Get it?
No, it doesn't really make much sense, but, then again, neither do I.
...
...
... I like Zack.

And Sebastian lives. With all parts of his body in tact.
