Life is not so much on what happens to us, but on how we respond to reality.
Periods of brightness and joy maybe quickly followed by periods of gloom, depression, or lugubriousness. What pleases you today may not please you tomorrow. Listen deeply, it was all but a part of being a member of the human race, and remember that life isn't always fair and easy.
The road to life holds some surprises, along with some disappointments, barriers, aches, and pains that would our hearts shake our bones, enrich our souls.
Be optimistic and ebullient to reconnoiter the bright side of everything, not for pleasure but for duty. Discover that life is a mixture of good days and bad, of Pyrrhic victories and defeats and of giving and taking. Put your nose to the grindstone. There's been always life at the bleak end of the tunnel, and behind the clouds the sun shines brightly. Sorrow is better than laughter for by the sadness of one's countenance the heart is made glad.
There are no obstacles in life, only challenges. Through problems, we become stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally. The more problems we have the more we become better, the more courageously we face the challenges and the stronger we become for we breed our strength from our problems.
Problems increase a person's sensitivity of others and reveal hidden powers and potentials. It can catapult a person to fame and fortune, set him on a pedestal, gain him fun and fascination. Strive to confront your problems; it would not be a needless chore but an exciting adventure. Through our problems we become what we are. Problems can make our life interesting if we do not elude from them. They serve as catharsis for us, sort of purgation.
Do not invite death. An error becomes a mistake unless we fail to correct them. Enjoy life and all good things in existence. Lost time will never be found anew. Be strong. What is weak proves itself to be useless, and what you believe you are is what you think you become. Past is past. Forget the errors and mistakes of the past. Live for the present. Doughtiness can sometimes be the secret of success. But success in life is not sure guarantee that we will attain happiness. Always turn to God. Life in Him is painless and sheer gladness and joy. He said, "I am the vine, you are the branches, apart from me you can do nothing."
Struggle goes on all the time. We have no choice for the battlefield that God gives us, but we can plant standards that never flow. Courage conquers all things; it is the virtue that champions the cause of righteousness.
What would life be if we have no courage to attempt anything? It is only courage that brings us to where success lies. So go right ahead. Don't let that big truck crowd you off the road. Remember that at the tunnel's end, one finds life.
