IS love getting acquainted with anyone? Can love save a relationship? Is love situational? Is love loving somebody?
Certain situation is defined by love, a situation which requires a person to a great commitment-of patience, understanding, openness, responsibility, and total loyalty. What is right is that you are also being loved. But, do this particular person really loves you? Maybe yes, maybe no.
Love can conquer anything and everyone. It can cross the oceans; it can climb mountains and can even reach the stars. Love can even do the unusual and the unexpected. Indeed, anything is possible in the name of love.
Love is extremely difficult word of feeling to define and express. But we also have to consider that love has also limitations. When love calls, nothing is impossible. It surpasses any other feelings, even of life. Love can turn things into different figures and manners. Its meaning is anchored on the nature of all that is powerful. It knows no bounds; it accepts no defeat. One wonders how one can survive without having someone to love and be loved in return. A poet once said, "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all."
Love is certainly an ideal means of showing a great feeling to somebody. In the name of love, can a person do anything for the sake of his love? Certainly! He can do everything for her, even without a word of thanks and even by her thoughts or actions only. It makes a person who is in love more dedicated, always willing to share his time and effort. But what hurts is when she doesn't know how to be considerate, knowing that there is someone who cares for her and somebody who is ever ready to sacrifice for her sake.
Love also has to carry its own trials. Life's like that. One's love is genuinely tested by his ability to let go of the other when necessity demands for it.
Love comes at the right time, at the right place, and at the right person. If love goes wrong, he is totally ruined, including his feelings for her.
When all have been said about love, it would be wise to ponder the words St. John of the Cross said about love: "Love is repaid by love alone."
