Across the River

by Edgar Pantas

Sunset was over,

Light was overshadowed by darkness.

Glimmering sounds around the place

When we come across the river.

School of fish utters the water,

Coupled with butterflies and insects

fly above the leaves.

Each of us scared off by the wind

When we come across the river.

Leaves were falling down from the trees.

Grasses blowing by the wind.

Throughout  the tremendous journey,

Alas! We finished crossing the river.

Day by Day

by Eleazar Ojales

In the morning

when the sun

is just starting to light the day.

I am awakened

and my first thoughts

are of you...

At night,

I stare at the dark trees

Silhouetted against the

quiet stars.

I am tranced

into a complete peacefulness

and my last thoughts

are of you...

I love you
