Life is a test paper

by Jelwen Gaquit

Life is a test paper

Given by God, our teacher

When He says, "Pass the paper, please."

Prepared or not, the paper you wont miss!

Now, since you get the paper-listen

To what instructions God is going

Don't circle when it says underline

And look at your paper not mine.

Sometimes God's questions are not easy

Except the matching type, that's easy for me

And when it calls for "Fill in the blanks too"

By my store of memories, I won't forget you!

When you are asked to answer yes or no

Don't say "ok" because you don't know

Just as when asked if true or false

Don't trouble God by answering, "Trulse"

I know God is a reliable checker

He never sleeps, checking our test paper

Don't give up make it perfect or not

God rewards those who do their best.

Be the Best

by Vonizela Balais

If you can't be a pine on the top of the hill

Be a scrub in the valley-but be

The best little scrub by the side of the hill

Be a bush if you can't be a tree.

If you can't be an ocean opening wide

Be a river flowing to the sea-but be

The best stream lying on the mountainside

Running deeply to the river side.

If you can't reach the top of your dreams

Let your destination give you success.

The best little things done to simple people

Are the best fulfillment that you can attain.

If you can't be a highway, then just be trail

If you can't be star;

It isn't the size that you win or fail-but be

THE BEST of whatever you are.
