On getting high grades atbp. |

WHICH is more important, getting high grades or learning something? You might get confused, and you would say that one can't get higher marks if he hasn't learned something. Well, I won't tell you you're wrong if you have an opinion like that, or you might argue that high grades isn't everything. What matters most is the learning that you have attained, not the grades that you get. You might be able to get high grades but learn nothing.
Our society is accustomed to honoring those who attained high marks in their studies. Those who have good grades land in decent jobs than those who did not. High-paying companies prefer to hire those who belong to the significant lot who have attained higher marks, or those who got perfect A's in their records. Although this could not be true sometimes (eventhough you didn't perform great while you were schooling), you could still get the job you want through a "padrino" or a "backer's" help.
Others think that "pasipsip," or being close to your teacher, can help them get good grades. This is done through "pacute-cute" and giving some inexpensive gifts to the unsuspecting teachers and have their attention focused on them.
This is our final issue for this school year, and we hope that the Student Publication Office (SPO), through this paper, has done something beneficial for the school. We give thanks to those who have supported us, especially Sr. Lourdes Amascual, RSM who never hesitates to release the fund alloted for the publication office.
We also thank our dear collegians who submitted to us their articles / poems for publishing. Here, you will find their contributions - to their hearts' content.
Lastly, the TARGET congratulates our schoolmates who are graduating this month. A bright future awaits you. Just have the will and the enthusiasm to attain your cherished dreams life. Don't forget your cherished dreams in life. Don't forget your Alma Mater. Never depart from the wise instructions you learned from her. Remember, life doesn't have to be perfect to be wonderful.
