UFO Club Meeting Minutes- Glenn Hilton Disc Golf Course

 

June 12, 2004

 

Attending: Brad (Pres), Jon (Treas), Brent (VP), Freddy, Durant, Todd, Dan (Sec), Dickie, Andy, Nate L.

 

• Brad brought the meeting to order at 9:40 AM.

 

• Brad reports Wednesday doubles are going well and making some good money for the club. We owe Innova $120.

 

• Course is looking good. We continue to encourage more involvement in picking up trash.

 

• Upcoming Events
• Charity Doubles - Lance Armstrong Foundation sponsored event on July 25 in place of Sunday doubles. Start time noon. Registration 8-11:45. Todd P.  is organizing
• Hickory Classic on September 4 and 5
• Piedmont Doubles, Thursday June 24

 

• Durant suggested we move on fixing the tee pad on #13. Club agreed to do it next Saturday (6/19/04) starting at 8 AM. Jon and Durant will get the cement. Brad will cover details with Gary.

 

• Wilson has the money to buy 30 bag tags. They will cost $10 each for members to purchase. Brad suggests each Saturday singles they will be on the line for participants.

 

EDITORS NOTE: The attendees then had a very good work morning clearing brush, weed whacking around hole 7, moving mulch to holes 6-9, cleaning the tee pads, and emptying the trash bins. Good work, guys!
