I started quilting the bag for my best friend's
birthday in May, but we couldn't meet each
other till summer, and I was lazy making it
till then. So, it took so long to finish up.
The motifs are maile & pikake. Because of the
crossed design, I had so much trouble with
the slip stitch. I wanted to give up!! (;_;)

I managed to give this bag to my mother's
friend on her 60th birthday. I used the black
broad cloth as the base for the first time.
I chose a metallic thread for echo quilting. It's
hard to quilt, but it makes the piece look nice.
The motif is angel trumpet flowers.

I made this bag for my sister-in-saw's
mother. This is a quite big lesson bag
for her hula class! (^o^*)
The motif is tiare.
I put a white pearl coating bead at the
center of each flower. Well done!! (*^-^)b
