"What are you thinking of, you look so serious."
I could feel my cheeks flush, then I answered him, stammering, "Oh... just the future. What I wish could be, and what I must wait for..."
"And, what is that, exactly?"
"Oh, surely you can see the desire in my eyes just as surely as I can see it in your own. You know how much I love you and how much I want for us to be together. I know that you love me... but, Ti, are we going to stay this way forever? I want more than this, I want to be your wife. I thought that was what you wanted too, but if it is not what you desire - then tell me! My patience grows weary. Others my age are married and many with one or two bambini besides, when will it be me?"
"Wow (note: <- equivalent word instead) 'Chite, you know that I both love and desire you. I do truly want you to be my wife. Last night I broke with your father. I want everything right," he lowered himself to one knee. "Malachite Korin je'Vaylor ti'Maynavins, would you do me the honor of changing your name to di'Fomily and becoming my wife?"
"Are you serious?"
"More serious than I have ever been."
"I thought that you would never ask... Yes, il mio amore, I will be your wife." He embraced me then twining his arms around me. He brought his face close his lips brushing mine for a moment before his mouth found purchase with mine. 'Twas a kiss from a dream or fiary tale. I could scarcely believe it was real.
