I was born and raised in Bay City, Michigan. I was born in Mercy hospital, the same one that Madonna was born in. My other claim to fame is my distant relationship to Victor Hugo. My great grandfather was named Victor Hugo after his great-great-great grandfather's first cousin the famous writer. Perhaps writing is in my blood??

I currently work as a graphic designer for a small printing shop doing marketing pieces for credit unions across the country. (Even in Hawaii!) I write in my free time, which usually means I miss out on sleep. I would love to be able to write full time.

I have been happily married to my high school sweetheart since 2001. We live in Michigan with our 9 year old lynx point snowshoe siamese, Samm.

My main focus right now is my husband, who is fighting a recurrent cancerous brain tumor. I plan on writing a book about that experience too.
