I really shouldn’t be writing this down
While I’m on company time, ‘cause they frown
On doing anything other than work
While I am on the job. I shouldn’t shirk,
Yet at the moment there’s nothing to do.
All of my paperwork’s finished – I’m through.
Not ‘til tomorrow will more work come in
And I can’t leave yet, so I took my pen
And wrote this little verse down in a tizzy
So everyone thinks that I’m keeping busy.
