Nancy Jones Barre - [email protected]; home - 859-781-1434; work - 859-815-2203; cell - 859-866-1434. Nancy began her high school coaching career at Highlands for swimming in 1989-1996 and then 2002 - current. Highlands achieved several Regional Championships and the boys were state runner-ups in 1993, 1994, and 1995. Highlands was also the Combined State Champions in 1995. Look for the trophies in the swimming showcase next to the principal's office. School records are also posted on a plaque by the office. She has also coached basketball and volleyball at Highlands.
Nancy attended Highlands and graduated in 1970. While at Highlands, she competed in swimming, tennis, basketball and volleyball. She was also a cheerleader for 5 years (quit laughing)! She has taught all grade levels of physical education at Highlands, Highlands Middle School and Johnson Elementary. Nancy lives in Ft. Thomas with her husband and two grown children. Brian graduated from Highlands in 2001 and Angela in 1998.

Nathan Clinkenbeard - [email protected];- This is Nathan's first year coaching at HHS. He was an assistant coach at the Fort Thomas Swim Club for five years from 2000-2004.
Nathan swam for Highlands for six years, and he also swam for the Fort Thomas Swim Club. He graduated from Highlands in 2002 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in print journalism at Murray State University in 2006. He is the managing editor of three national youth sports magazines: Baseball Youth, Soccer Youth and Softball Youth. Nathan continues to swim and competes in triathlons. He also has finished two marathons.

Jen Rehberger - [email protected]; home - 859-442-8234; cell - 513-708-6403. Jen started coaching in 1988 after finishing high school. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Graphic Design in 1992 and began coaching for DIVE Cincinnati with Steve Voellemecke. In 2000, Jen stopped coaching to expand the volunteer SCUBA program at the Newport Aquarium and then start a family. She lives in Ft. Thomas with her husband and 2 wonderful girls. Jen decided to come back to the chlorine in 2005 as Highlands Diving Coach. She is enjoying coaching during the school year and spends her summers coaching at Highland Country Club.
