Memories
Recently, Idalee asked a question that got us started talking about our 3rd grade experiences at ol' Houston Elementary School. Here's a question to maybe get us started talking again. What is your favorite Middle School or High School memory?

I have more memories of middle school and high school than elementary. One of my favorites in middle school are the slumber parties at Jana Bilderback's and Heather Fisher's houses. I think it was at Jana's house that we would tell ghost stories that scared me to death. And at Heather's we watched Cujo. That scared me to death. I also remember Shonna Flowers being gaga over Don Johnson on Miami Vice. But who wasn't?

I still appreciate all the comments on Miss Grimm as she is retiring this year after 30 years at Houston. She taught us in Kindergarten and 3rd. grade. If you remember anything please let me know.

Well i guess one of my favorite memories is in first grade and in ms medders class we had to act out the wizard of oz, and i remember that the girls in there had played the tornado had to wear dresses so that when we twirled the skirts would twirl...lol And then in fourth and fifth grade we had that relay at the end of the year and we would all compete against the other classes. I remember the choir trips we would make. And on the senior trip on the bus to six flags, the guys on the bus started singing theme songs from tv shows..lol I have alot of memories mostly good ones.

Because I still live in middle school - trust me the view is quite enlightening from the other side of the desk, I am constantly reminded of those years. Patti, I too remember the sleepovers at Jana's and that old creepy house that was up the road. One of my favorite memories of middle school, however, was mini course day. That must have been such a huge undertaking to plan all of that for us. I also remember getting to go the the Sportsman's Club in eighth grade to shoot at clay pigeons. Many memories... what a strange and crazy time the life of a middle schooler :) Hope everyone reading this is happy and well... I would love to hear from you. Jennie
