Have any of you ran into former teachers? I ran into Lyman Brown at a Frisco League teachers meeting last fall. He has temporarily come out of retirement to teach math at Plato High School. Plato is in need of more teachers due to increased enrollment and Mr. Brown decided to help. I almost didn't recognize him. I was sitting 2 seats to his right and didn't realize it was him until he started to talk. It was so cool.

I was in Houston visiting my sister, Aimee, a couple of years ago. We went to the Relay for Life event at the football field. This man came up to me said hello and asked how I was doing. For the life of me I couldn't place him! After he left, I asked Aimee who that was and she said it was Mr. Woosley! I guess I didn't recognize him in "civilian" clothes, not to mention the long gray ponytail he was sporting. I caught up to him on the next lap and told him I had to ask who he was. He just laughed and gave the same smile he always sported in high school.

I saw Mr. Burnou at Wal-mart and he said he finally retired from the school. He had been doing only ISS kids the last few years anyway.
