SCRAPBOOKING: AN EXAMPLE

Here is an example of one of our typical scrapbooking projects, where the children research, gather information and pictures and paste them into their own scrapbooks.  As life goes on and different circumstances arise, it enables more scope for further scrapbooking projects along these lines. 


LESSON PLAN:


Septic systems; - how they work

Soil conditions; - sand, loam and clay

Root system and nutrition of plants; nutrients required, conditions, pollution.


APPLICATION:


To cut out and paste any information on the above topics.


GUIDE;


Plants; - trees, flowers, shrubs, herbs, vegetables.
Fertilizers;  variety of fertilizers on the market and their application.
Pollution; - oil, petrol, diesel, sewage, excess fertilizing etc.
Sewage systems;
Soil types; - sand, loam and clay


REQUIREMENTS;


Scrapbooks, scissors, glue, pens, magazines.
