I keep myself busy with running a household, doing part-time bookkeeping, and generally keeping in touch with what's happening at our children's school and our community's municipal hall.
We also keep a number of pets - three dogs, 2 indoor cats, 2 outdoor ones, a hampster, a chicken, and whatever other wildlife finds its way onto our property. It's not unusual for a deer, a bear or a pack of coyotes to drop by for a visit. The beavers out back paddle about in the pond. We also have a resident blue heron, a number of ducks, eagles, hawks, owls and various other birds. We really love living in this wilderness. My three yard apes fit right in. ;-)
