HOW TO GET THERE BY ROAD

Verbal directions for those of you who can't read maps ...

From the south, head for the Forth Road Bridge.

After the bridge take the SECOND exit which is junction 1 (yes really). It’s signposted for Inverkeithing, the Kincardine Bridge and the Fife Coastal Tourist Route.

Go down the slip road and you will come to a roundabout – go RIGHT (third exit), which is signposted A921 for Inverkeithing.

About half a mile along there you will come to a pair of roundabouts nearly on top of each other. Take the FIRST exit at both roundabouts, signposted for Crossgates B981.

About 1.5 miles along that road (it’s quite twisty), you will pass a road on your right to Hillend (B921) and a road on your left to Dunfermline (also B921), almost immediately on the right after those two turnings is the entrance to the campsite – Fordell Firs, Scout HQ.

Go up the entrance road and there is a car park on the right where you can park.

Carry on along the same road on foot and you will see a big new building on your right – that’s us!
