CIRCUMCENTER

The point of intersection of the three perpendicular bisectors of the sides of a triangle is called the circumcenter of the triangle.

In this sketch, point G is the circumcenter of the triangle.

If the triangle given is obtuse, the circumcenter will be located on the outside of the triangle. If the given triangle is acute, the circumcenter will be located on the inside of the triangle. If a right triangle is given, the circumcenter will be located on the hypotenuse of the triangle.
