·       CA is congruent to CT because the legs of an isosceles triangle are congruent.

·       Angle A is congruent to angle T because if two sides of a triangle are congruent, then the two base angles are congruent.

·       Angle C + angle A + angle T = 180 degrees because the sum of the measure of the angles of a triangle = 180 degrees.

·       50 + X + X = 180

·       50 + 2X = 180

   - 50          -  50

·               2X = 130

            2        2

·               X = 65

 

Angle A = 65 degrees
