Volunteer Information

 

Q: What time do I need to be at CBC?

A: 1 hour prior to performance. (1:30 and 6:30 / 5:30 and 4:00 for dinner shows)

 

Q: What do I wear?

A: A big smile!  Pants or skirt, nice shirt, shoes.

 

Q: What can I NOT wear?

A: Jeans, t-shirts, flip-flops or tennis shoes. You are representing HFAC. First impressions do matter.

 

Q: What are my job responsibilities?

A: Ushers- Greet at doors, hand out programs.

Man doors before 2:00/7:00 to keep guests from entering early.

            Take tickets at door, tear off stub.

* Help as needed in concessions during intermission. *

 

    Box office- Pass out will call tickets at window.

Sell tickets unless we are sold out.

Sell season ticket/gift cards

     Concessions- help Loleda as needed.

 

Dinner shows only:

    All: Help clear tables, serve desserts, take down table and chairs after dinner (last show of weekend), and general clean up.

 

Q: When may I go in to watch the show?

A: When all tickets have been passed out. We need 1 usher and 1 box office person to stay behind about 15-20 min. for late comers.

 

Q: Can I reserve a seat?

A: Sorry, please find a seat at the back of the house. (It is a free ticket!) Please also do not have someone save a seat in the front, as you would need to move in front of people to get to your seat. Absolutely no paper “reserved” signs.
