STONES IN HIS POCKETS.....WINNER! OLIVIER AWARD for Best Actor -- Best Comedy, features Sean Campion and Conleth Hill in a comedy about a small Irish village's encounter with a Hollywood crew. Sean and Conleth play fifteen different characters, from starlets to local extras.
Sean Campion, trained at the Focus Theatre, Dublin. He toured Japan with the Irish Actors Theatre Company production of Othello as well as directed Beckett's Play and That Time. Sean is an Associate Artist of Quare Hawke's Theatre Company in Dublin and of the Luric Theatre in Belfast. Sean was nominated for the 2001 Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Actor and received special awards from the Outer Critics Circle, Theatre World and Drama Desk. Conleth Hill, was born in Ballycastle. He won the 2000 Irish Times ESB Award, WhatsonStage.com Award and the 2001 Olivier Award for Best Actor for his performance in Stones In His Pocket. Conleth received a 2001 Tony Award nomination and special awards from the Outer Critics Circle, Theatre World and Dama Desk.
