The Rotaract Club Of R.J. College was chartered on 10th october 2000 by The Rotary Club Of Bombay Suburban. Right from the birth of the club, there has been an impressive average strength of 50 rotaracters each year. In the very first year under the leadership of Rtr. Alex Thadikaran, the club was voted Best Upcoming Club amongst 70-odd clubs in District 3140, one of the most vibrant districts in the world.
In its second year the club was among the top ten clubs in the district under the energetic leadership of Rtr. Jiten Vasavda, who won acclaim as one of the best presidents in the district. Then the charge was passed on to Rtr. Nitin Gosar under whom the club built a strong structure for the coming years.
Today, under the leadership of Rtr. Yogesh Laad, the club is redefining history and doing things never before done. Today RJ'ites are known for their intense planning and implementation of the wonderful projects undertaken by the club to uphold the values of leadership and professionalism. The RJ'ites are a group of smart professionals striving for quality and professionalism in projects and in the club as well, with all the 'zeal to reach the zenith'.
